Six Week Dialogue Intensive

Next Six Week Dialogue Intensive – Date to be determined. Check the calendar on this site.

The purpose of the Intensive is to provide an opportunity for inquiry together with a consistent group of people once a week for six weeks.

These dialogues are at a different time from the regularly scheduled Thursday evening one and are only open to those who have registered for the six weeks. Enrollment will be limited.

What we look at in the group will be determined spontaneously by the people in the group through our interactions. The group will be facilitated to make sure that the dialogues feel safe and worthwhile for everyone.

Participants are asked to commit to attending every session unless you have an emergency. It’s important for supporting each other over these six weeks that everyone have the intention to attend all sessions.

Sessions will be approximately an hour and a half long. There will be a short sitting time of 20-30 minutes and about an hour for dialogue. The time of the sessions will be customized for the needs of the group as much as possible. Sessions will be held by Zoom.

Working together in dialogue is one of the best ways that I know of to start opening up areas of our lives that don’t usually get the attention that they need. Listening to others and expressing oneself in the presence of others touches on issues that usually don’t get touched on when we are meditating or reflecting alone.

I’ve discovered that when the same group of people has the chance to meet together consistently over a number of times, something unique begins to happen. As we learn about each other and share the experience of exploring together, we start to be able to support each other in a very new way.

This intensive dialogue opportunity is, in my experience, the next best way, other than 7 day retreat, to address that in each which most needs attention. The intensive doesn’t allow the same opportunity for quieting down and energizing that retreat offers, but it does give us the same chance for some continuity of inquiring together and learning how to support each other.

The dialogue Intensive can breathe fresh life into your own work and pave the way for deeper opening and healing through retreat.
